Default Alpinestars CR-4 Gore-Tex XCR Boots

Hiking boots for the road, anyone? Alpinestars has you covered with the CR-4 Gore-Tex XCR Boots. These waterproof motorcycle boots are ideal for any rider that likes to ride his bike to distant places and then, hike further off the beaten path. They’re also exceptionally comfortable for work around town and the Gore-Tex waterproof membrane means your feet will stay dry too. Fabricated with a combination of polyurethane-coated leather, suede and textile panels – these look more like hiking boots than riding boots. But, that doesn’t mean protection isn’t built in – two shanks run the length of the sole and extra foam padding has been inserted around the ankles. Plus, a PU-coated leather patch resides just above the toes so shifting won’t wear into them at all. Inside, a breathable mesh liner greets the foot and reinforcements are provided for the toe and heal areas for extra protection. The feet rest atop a comfortable, anatomically-shaped footbed for comfort. As you can see, the spec sheet reads a lot like a high end hiking boot, only better!

These riding boots are not yet available on our website, for more information – call John at 866.931.6644 x 812 or send a note to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with ALPINESTARS CR4 GORE-TEX XCR BOOTS in the subject line and we’ll get back to you right away.

Alpinestars CR4 Gore-Tex XCR boots come in three different colors.

Surefootedness is the subject of this wrap-around rubber outsole that’s contoured for grip in wet or dry conditions. Two separate shanks are used within for extra protection but still permit comfortable range of movement.

Strong metal eyelets run along the top of each boot with two pairs of metal hooks at the top end which allow you to easily tension the laces to your liking.

The ankle is protected on both sides by foam backed, double density impact panels. A reflective insert has also been fitted.

EVA footbed is not only perforated to encourage airflow, but it’s also anatomically shaped for improved comfort and better control of the motorcycle.

To carry the Gore-Tex name, the equipment in question must be certified by Gore-Tex labs to function as advertised. This assures that the end user receives exactly what’s expected of the equipment in question.

Both toes are covered by PU-impregnated leather that’s designed to withstand years of shifting without wearing through.
