What year is my bike?

Just bought a 200 KTM cheap I thought. Runs/rides good but a little ragged. The guy told me it was a 2003 but I think not now that I got it home. The sticker on the frame is worn down where the year would be. It has the older style front forks so I'm guessing 1999 or older. How can I determine what year it is so I can buy the correct parts for it?

Hi, I see no one has posted yet.

Are you still trying to find out the year of your bike?

Can you read the last 6 digits of the frame number??
Can you post pictures?

I was able to read the VIN after cleaning the area. It's a 1999. The guy either lied or was told it was a 99 when he bought it. Live and learn! Thanks for the offer to help.
