WATCH OUT for MOTORCYCLISTS

I am sure we , as riders, already understand the importance,and it seems like a NO BRAINER, but spread the WORD to all those you know !! Look out when driving your four wheelers, for folks who are RIDING MOTORCYCLES!! In these times of HIGH FUEL COSTS, most folks who can are pulling out their bikes to ride to work, run small errands, go to their buds house, etc. So there are alot of people out on the roads riding MOTORCYCLES!! Hang-up the cell phones, turn the music/passenger distractions down, and PAY ATTENTION!! People's lives/physical well being are at stake here.Wifey's uncle was riding to work Monday afternoon around 4pm(broad daylite)@posted speed limit approx.1/2 mile from his home, when he had a driver pull right out of a private driveway in his path.He got on the brakes, but could not avoid sliding into the side of that vehicle,coming off the bike(thankfully) before it continued on into a tree head-on. He came home last nite from Washington Hospital Center last nite in only sore condition.No broken bones, but a concussion,some rash, cuts, and a severe bruising.He's lucky(blessed) to be alive,AND not crippled.Oh, did I mention the $23K totaled UltraClassic? HD s may not be everyone's cup 'o'tea, but we are all riders.And to think he wanted to try roadracing last year.I'm just hoping he'll get another,since he's only 55 years young.WATCH OUT for BIKERS, there are alot more opportunities out there to kill or maim someone, don't be a statistic , any aspect of it...
