We have a 2005 50 mini adventure which has been running great up until today. Yesterday it started with two kicks and the kids rode it for about 1 hour. Today it won't start and doesn't even sound like it wants to. I checked the fuel and its going into the carb and I bought a new plug and its getting spark but it still won't start. I also tried some started fluid but that didn't work either. Why would it run great one day and completely fail the next day?
Have you checked the clutch, maybe some has gone wrong in there??
Also i would look at the the kill switch, disconnect it and see if you get anything. I hear alot that they tend to fail.
Cheers
Dan
+1 on the kill switch. It could be cutting ignition when kicked. How is compression? I know it doesn't happen overnight, but it could have been at that point of ok compression, to bad which would cause hard starting as well.
