KTM 65 Sputters at top end

Just got my kid a 2008 KTM 65xc. Idles fine, midrange is fine, but it sputters at top end. Changed plugs but not help. Any ideas?

just seen this happen to a guy. it was the plug cap- something to try for cheap.
we recently purchased a 08 65. i noticed the air filter gets dirty quick

Did you get the bike to quit spuddering on top end? sounds like a main jet to me.

It sounds like maybe its a little lean. check your main jet for size and dirt. Also check you crank seal under the flyweel if there is any dirty oily residue it could be blown. The plug cap and/or wire are a good start too.
