Default Recently bought my first motorcycle ever at 48...

an '02 250SX two-stroke. Needless to say, I love this thing. i always wanted a dirt bike and now I have one. I live in a duplex right now and the last people to move out from the other side had this bike sitting in their garage that looked brand new and I noticed after a while that they never rode it. Well, long story short, the guy said he wanted 2800 for it and so I asked him if he would take 2500 and he said sure and the rest is History. But I wanted to get on here and just rave about how I'm happier than a pig in you-know-what. I'm no longer riding it like your Grandmother because I've gotten a little better than that now and I shouldn't even say that 'cuz I know some of y'all have Grandmothers out there that are probably racing competitively. I grew up skating and bicycling and so they're like second nature to me and one of the first things i realized as a beginning rider on this bike is how skilled a person would really have to be to be like that on one of these machines 'cuz if you blink the wrong way on one of these, you've just dumped it. I could just go on and on about my bike for days, that's how much i love it; but I'll shutup now..

Welcome Tim.

Ya, I got out of dirt bikes when I got married (wife thought I'd get killed ). Got back into them again about 10 years ago. I'm 1 year younger than you.

Default Cool beans. What do wives know anyways? I guess...

she was wrong, unless you've been replaced by a replicant. I see you've had a bike stolen. The Cartel stole my '78 F350 down in Scottsdale, AZ. It was sweet. Bought it down by the Border. Had a 460 in it. Moral of the story? Never spend a bunch of time on something like that without full coverage ; or in the absence of that, at least use a club, have a good kill switch, or have an alarm that pages you on your person so you can run out there with a handgun or something. the alarms that make a bunch of noise are useless because nobody responds to them because everyone in America is too lame or too weak to get involved. thank God I'm not like that myself or I would just take myself out. I actually go out of my way to help old people and the only person I'm afraid of is myself. Drive safe, buddy. Butnottoo safe.
