New Member and 99 MXC 380 owner

New member here. I just purchased a 99 KTM MXC 380. Not my first bike but it is my first KTM.

That 380 is a monster.

I tried my friends 2000 model, after riding 4-strokes
for 10 years. Insanely light, and fast.

tell me about it. I weigh +250lbs and it still comes up on me when I give it a twist. Its a thrill ride

Some pics of the day a brought it to my folks house (more trails around there). I purchase it for 1000$ , it runs mint but needs some work. Rear wheel bearings, side covers, new coolant hoses (they feel to soft) front brake pads and ect. Engine and suspension are in mint shape.

Future plans(parts are already ordered) Rekuse auto clutch for deep woods nast rocky trails. New tires, large rear sprocket. all new hoses,fluids,hose clamps, fr/r wheel bearings, Vapor trail computer, fmf knarly pipe. I figuire there are not many of these around so I might as well build it up into a awesome trail/sandlot bike.

You stole that bike for $1000. Even if you put another $500 - $600, that is a great deal.

I have big plans for it, most likely wil put in more then I spent buying the bike In CT used dirt bikes go pretty cheap do to lack of riding area. I'm kinda lucky living close enough to MA and the trails up there.

The bike will be set up with the rekluse auto clutch set up with right hand rear brake set up. Some new fresh tires and gear her down add a heavy duty skid plate and I'll be all set up for rocky nasty rutted out trails on a 380
