new ktm noob from ontario

hi all joined the forum to learn more about ktm 690 E. not sure where to post Q's about that bike. haven't pulled the trigger yet on one, trying to learn more about it. I'd prefer a adventure 690 but no news on that. So, if i do pull the trigger on a 690 enduro it will be converted to a adventure. any info would be appreciated.

Post 690 questions in the LC4 section since that is what that engine is.

There is also the Adventure section.

I've heard that there will not be a 690 Adventure except in Oz, and Europe.

Not interested in the 990 LC8 Adventure?

absolutly I like or interested in the LC8 adventure, the problem is..... is cash. and the ability to still go dirt bikin. :0... I know the adventure can still go but not like the 690... I have a drz400 now all suited up to go a long way. But finding it hard on the highways, and now lacking in the bush. The drz and the 690 claim the same weight (or so) but the horsepower for the 690 is double the 400. Sounds fun to me. the 990 is a mear 150lbs heavier. So what I really want is a 100hp dirt bike weighting in at 200lbs for $5000.00 . So untill that comes along in another life the 690? thoughts/opinions?
