Hi, I'm new here. Looking to buy a used 2007 KTM 690 Supermoto. Just wondering if there are any common issues/problems I should look for or be concerned about, I have heard rumors of bad cam follower bearings on the rocker arm and FI issues. I did search the supermoto section but found nothing. Thanks for your help. I have a 2008 Husqvarna SM510R, so I'm not new to the sport, just KTM bikes.

I have heard a few of the rocker arm stories on the enduro model also, but
it seems for all the friends I have riding the 690 (all models) the engine
is reliable. I believe the FI mapping issue (stalling at lights) has been fixed also.

2008 duke 8200 miles and just did the valves no adjustment needed, roller bearing, perfect not like the others i have heard about or pics i have seen. if the sm was well maintained you should be fine
