Hi from NC mountains
Just got the money to go pick up my next baby. Got a 2004 300 exc waiting for me. The guy said it cant even have 40 hours on it since new. This was his baby, He also had an 03 that he raced. He bought the o4 new and before he rode it he sent the head to ? ClayTM ( is he still around this forum?) he said that he cut the head and ported the cylinder to run on premium pump gas. Does anyone know were I can find out more info on this. Ive searched with limited success. I was very impressed with the power from the 300. It feels like my old Cr250 on steroids and a diet! I ride on and off the road and love both equally for many different reasons. I rode motocross for a number of years and after selling my bombproof cr I bought a cbr and have been on that till now and have just been wanting to get back in the dirt. I love the two strokes simplicity and reliability. Cant wait till weyahutta opens in the spring(local ohv park that I know like the back of my hand) in the meantime my neighbors will just have to get used to the sound BRAAAAAP!
