Default Idaho 2006 625 SMC

Hey, Ive had the bike for about 6 months. Its the most fun I have had on a motorcycle. Droppin in on a KTM forum to introduce myself for future questions.

Has gutted can, now shortened 6 inches from these pictures with the tips opened up with a hole saw, airbox mod (hole in the front, top cover off) im wanting to do the throttle stop mod and jet it accordingly for the mods that i have (thats what my questions will be about, i have no clue about carbs or what jets to use)

anyways on to the pics

Nice bike. Welcome.

I am pretty sure you have the FCR carb, but can you verify this?

If you carb has a black plastic roundish top then it's not an FCR.

The top cap is the same color and material as the rest of the carb, with a slant from the front to back

You have the keihin fcr carb (it's a pumper carb as opposed to the Mikuni constant velocity BST carb).

I would think about getting one of these jetting kits below. All the folks I know
with FCRs swear by them.

I was curious as to what to do for the rear tire, every where i read its 160 60. i have a 160 60 on it, but was told it was bigger than oem when i got the bike but the chain hits it, this has never really bothered me until i tightened my chain today, its hitting the tire much harder and is starting to seem sketchy, if it wasnt already haha. is there a way to move that guide out or what?

you can see what im talking about in this picture
