Default new to team orange

greetings from the great white north, just bought my first KTM yesterday. put 350 km on my 2010 adventure and i'm loving it so far. throttle seems to be a little bit overactive or jerky at city speeds, any ideas or remedies for this? can't wait to drive this thing all over this big ball of dirt!

Welcome.

I have heard that on the 690e they had a throttle cam that was
swappable.

Let me look into it more.

Also, check the cable adjustment. My new 690 had a ton of slack which made the throttle snatchy at low speed.

Throttle tamer tube will do the trick. Just put one on my 690 duke - world of difference for in-town rides.

sorry, guess i should've specified that i have a 990 (not sure if that makes a difference). i tightened up the throttle cable today and it seemed to help but it's still pretty jerky. what is this throttle tamer you speak of, how much is it and where can i find one?
