Default 530 learner

would anyone recommend a 2011 530 for a moderate beginner. I'm weighing about 100kg and looking for a bike i wont get used to in a hurry. what do you reckon

That bike is fine for you, although you will have to get the
springs changed, as it is setup stock for a 70 kg rider.

That bike will pull wheelies in 3rd and 4th gear.

It will work great. Being a four-stroke it will be a little more forgiving in many situations.

Default Maintenence

So really keen on the KTM 530. But I am wondering about self services. Is there much beyond changing air filters and oil. Standard servicing with valve clearances and what not. I will leave that up to the professionals.
Also what spring setup for me @100kgs. I've heard due to the high performance that can have problems evolve that would not be prevented by a oil change air filters, tighten spokes and chain.
Just want to make sure I'm making the right decision..
