Default Time for something different...

Hello all,

I am a long time cruiser rider, out here in Bellevue WA, and felt it was time for something different. Yesterday while in the dealer for a an oil change for my Victory Vision, I spotted a 2010 KTM Adventure... And started drolling, I knew nothing about the bikes and little about KTM. Anyway, one of the sales guys must have seen my weakness and pounced, we talked, and said I need some time to thinks things over.

After some research, and later that day I headed down there on my "small" bike a 2009 Victory Hammer S (I never much cared for the Hammer). And took the Adventure our for a test drive, in the rain none the less.

WOW, what have I been missing all these years! I was in love, after about an hour of test riding, some wheelies, some tight parking lot figure 8s I was sold. Headed back to the dealer, did some haggling and rode home on my new KTM.

I am really looking forward to getting to know the bike and the dual sport community more.

So, anyone out in the pacific northwest?

Kevin

Welcome Kevin.

I am not trying to steer you away from our site, but
as far as the adventure bike crowd, advrider.com seems
to have the most members. I'd say poke around on the
trip report/planning forum, and you will find some local
dual sport riders.

If you ever get down south, I can take you on some great
rides.

BTW, congrats on the nice buy.

Marco
