1995 ktm300gs rear shock

g,day my name is lee , i just bought a 95 300gs of my brother that he stacked big time as it had to much grunt for him to handle .i know the owner who had this bike before my brother and i know the history behind it , it is worth getting this ktm up and running again.
now the reason i joinded this forum is ive always owned yamahas and i dont know alot about ktms , but what i have learnt so far is parts are rare and expensive in australia .
the main part im after is the rear shock as the top of the one i have is completly messed up beyond repair , i have found heaps of shocks on ebay america that are willing to ship to aust , but they are of different year bikes 93s,94s,97s, and so on .
what im hoping is someone on this forum could tell me what other year and models will fit my bike so i dont buy the wrong one all the way from america.
im also in the market for a rear sub frame .
