Hello from New Brunswick, Canada.

I just bought a '07 450 EXC and love it. 20 hrs since riding season started up here. I was on a Honda CRF450R prior to that but found it tough to ride with the family. We all have bikes. My two kids (7 and 9) are on Honda CRF 50 and 70's and my wife rides a CRF230. The KTM makes life that much easier with kids and stopping to pick one up off the ground or help start a fickle bike. And my youngest doesn't run when I start the KTM like he did with the Honda. I wont even mention the "magic" button by the right grip!!!!
We live out in the country and can ride from our property to endless trails here in NB. So far we have only done short rides but our plans are to make a couple longer rides this summer. I just need to get a better idea of fuel mileage for the small bikes.
Gotta go, I think I'm gonna hit the trails for a couple hours.

Hi and welcome Mike.

I remember my first e start KTM, the guys with the
XR600s and XR650s were kicking away at a hot
flooded bike (cursing a storm). I'd just pick up my
bike when I went down, and let it sit for a minute, then
press go.
