New to Orange

Hey all; just purchased a new 2011 Adventure Dakar. I plan on using the Dakar for a trip to Ushuaia next year in September. I must say there are very few "options" compared to most other bikes I have owned. But, I am looking to tap the collective brain trust on all things KTM (in particular the Dakar) and may be eventually reach a level of being able to contribute.

Sounds like a fun trip.

About 20 years ago, I rode down to Peru with
3 other guys. I had my new 620 RXC with saddle bags, and
a home made lexan wind screen.

We skipped Sonora, and took the ferry from La Paz to
Mazatlan.
