2008 KTM XCF450 Coolant Issue

So I recently bought a 2008 xcf450 and it is plated street legal so I've been riding it around town for the past few days with no issues at all. I live in FL so it definitely gets nice and hot out and today I had my first coolant overflow which at first I had no clue what was wrong and freaked out but later realized it was just green coolant but a good amount. It has some regular green coolant right now but I've heard that Evans NPG coolant is great because it won't boil over however, that doesn't mean your bike won't overheat and have even worse problems from running too hot. I've also heard that it might just be a faulty radiator cap but I would like to hear someone's opinion who has possibly dealt with this before as to what to do first so I don't waste my money. Let me know thanks!

I think a radiator cap is an easy fix and your on the right track ,might as well check that before you go hard on the other stuff.
Welcome to the forum. must be nice out in FL, sticky hot tire and all.

Hey thanks, I guess I'll go for the new cap and hope that will be an easy fix, and honestly I love the sun but my bike seems to disagree lol. It runs great while moving but as soon as I get stuck in traffic even with a radiator fan it just pukes out coolant within a few minutes.
