Passenger possibilities?

I was looking at getting one of these bikes soon, and it is going to be my main vehicle in the summer was just wondering it would be even close to practical to carry a passenger from time to time. I have seen foot pegs in the odd picture.

I would also be interested in passenger pegs for my '07 690 SMC, but I haven't found in in my searches. I've read that these came "in the box" with the bikes when new, but I bought mine used (and no pegs.) Could be handy for short jaunts around town. Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas???
