High idle and clock resets after starting the bike

Hi,

I’ve recently bought a 2008 KTM 690SM. It has just over 7000 km and runs great.
There’s a slight problem from time to time with the rpm needle. After starting the bike, it idles at 6000/7000 rpm instead of the usual >2000 rpm.
When this happens, the clock is also reset to 12:00.
Switching the engine off and back on again solves the problem.

Has anyone seen this problem?
