Default 450 fouling plug

The bike is an 05 and for the past couple of days it been hard to start and when I check the spark plug its black.
Normally this bike starts in 1-2 kicks but not anymore. Now I have to turn the fuel off, remove the air cover and after 10 kicks it starts.
Here is the odd thing, after riding for a little bit the bike dies and when I remove the fuel cap there is a lot of pressure, it seems like its not breathing.

I’m planning on replacing the air filter and the fuel cap, is there anything I should look for?

Thanks

I think i got it figured out. Since I bought the the bike two years ago I never drained the catch can so it was full of gas, and with the gas tank breather not working properly me thinks this is what’s causing the spark plug to foul. I installed a new filter and plug, let’s see if this fixes the problem.

That's the SMR model?

My friend's EXC does not have that can.

Yes, its SMR.

The bike did great today, rode very smooth till the fork seal blew out. This bike is draining my wallet very fast.

Is there a service manual somewhere? It’s leaking oil by the front sprocket now and need to fix it.
