If your reversed back bled the clutch from the slave up and got
no more bubbles, then:
1. Have you adjusted the free play in the lever. There is a little knob on the lever that will adjust that.
2. The oil in the transmission might be a little heavy and causing some drag. You could try a different oil. Also, make sure the bike is really warmed up before you try dead engine starts. The oil will be thinner then.
3. The clutch plates are worn. The should measure .107" and no thinner
than .103".
