'02 380exc

Howdy, new to the forum but plan on staying around awhile. Here's my story:
I right now have a '06 Yamaha Raptor 700R quad. I dig the bike, but a 4 wheeler is limited out on the trail. It's harder to do everything compared to a 2-wheel bike. So it's for sale ($3500) or trade for a decent dirt bike. A kid I know approached me about partially trading his '02 KTM 380 EXC for my Rappy (with money as well). I rode the 380, and it was pretty sweet even though it was dark so I couldn't go crazy with it. Also my time on a dirt bike is very small compared to 4 wheelers, so I want to take it easy. I want to get opinions on the 380EXC, as well as what you guys think it may be worth. It's in really good shape with a few small scratches. The engine has less than say 30 hours since a complete rebuild. The frame has been powder coated. Has spare body work, spare muffler, and tires in good shape. I realize it's a lot of bike for someone more or less just starting to ride 2 wheels instead of 4. So pretty much I'm asking is it a good bike for trails, is it reliable, will it be hard to maintain due to it's age and availability of parts, is there things I should look at before I get it, and what is it worth money wise? I am also a little hesitant to get a 2 stroke, but it's not a deal breaker. I originally wanted to sell the Rappy, and put a down payment on a new 350. If the 380 is a good ride though I'll make the trade. Discuss.
