Default 2003 MXC Fork Oil Level

Hi to Everyone,
This is my first experience with a KTM, I just bought a 2003 MXC in immaculate condition. I'm changing the fork oil and would like to know what oil level to start with. I've searched this subject and couldn't find any info. I have the owners manual and no info there either. Thanks for any advice.

You should have 48mm forks on your 2003.
48mm forks should have between 115 to 150mm air gap. 130mm is common and a good place to start. They will probably take about 600cc each to get that air gap.

5 wt oil is recommended.

Appreciate the reply. 5 Wt. is what I bought. I will do the fork seals and oil change this weekend. Just wanted a starting level. The owners manual does not have this information. I've been told there should have been a separate manual just for the suspension.

All three of my KTMs came new with a little KTM book bag that had
the owner manual, parts manual, and a WP suspension tuning booklet.

ebay might have some..
