Default 85sx using crank case oil

Hello,, I bought a new 07 85cc sx last year.

It has used crank case oil from DAY ONE!! Full case of oil / tank of gas..
There are no leaks,
I have split the crank cases and replaces the case gaskets and seals.
Anyone know where the case oil might be going????

If there are no drips under the case, you are burning it.

What does the plug look like, and is the exhaust smoke blue?

When you say crankcase oil do you mean transmission oil?
The only crankcase oil on a 2 stroke is mixed in with the gas. Unless there is something dramatically different about an 85SX than any other 2 stroke I have ever worked on?

Typically on a 2 stroke bike we refer to the "Crankcase" as either simply the "cases" or "engine case". The engine case on a 2 stroke bike is typically both the crankcase, and the transmission case.

As Baja mentioned if you are losing oil from the tranny and you can see no evidence of a leak, than there is probably a leak between the tranny portion of the case and the crank portion. Depending on circumstances this could cause the tranny oil to get sucked into the crank and burnt off, or possibly pressurizing the tranny and losing the oil out the tranny vent line then.

How much oil are you losing?

If you split the cases on a 2 stroke you should always do a leak down test. A leak down test would have shown that you were leaking. It should hold approx 8 psi with a max of a 3 psi drop over 30 mins.

If you have a leak, you can then trace the origin of said leak.

Also if you bought it new, and you say it was doing this since new should this not have been dealt with via warranty?

If you split the cases yourself however, I'm pretty sure your warranty will be null and void.

My had a bike that did that. But it smoked more than normal. I don't think i even rode it after it started smoking more. I replaced the clutch side seal and it stopped. For alittle bit that was. Then started again. Engine seemed to run great. But i again changed the seal and the Crank bearings. And walla..20hrs later it was still running great. then i sold it
