Default newbie question

Hi all, just brought my self a 200 exc, its the first 2 stroke ive owned after many years riding 4 stroke road bikes.
The bike starts and idles great, but it seems a bit hesitant/lumpy at low revs then it absoulutly flies when it hits the power band and feels lovely and crisp.
The question im asking is this normal for a 2 stroke or or it a fueling issue?
Cheers lee

That's how my berg runs. I have to keep reminding myself
that it really makes power only from mid to top end.

I get in trouble occasionally trying to "lug" the bike near stalling
like I do a four stroke.

Just a thought though, have you gone to aftermarket reed valves yet?

Pipe, Reeds and proper jetting will transform that bike for you! At the end of the say it is still a 200cc 2T so keep that in mind. Great trail bikes!
