1991 ktm 540???

Hi I was thinking about getting a KTM to add to my collection. And i came along a 1991 KTM 540 2 stroke. Do these even exist? If so the guy says they are rare. Only made for 2 years.

He also said it needs a new starting/ignition coil, (As it starts ruff and needs to be bump started) and that he found one on ebay for $50. Is this most likely the problem? or could I be getting into another project bike? He wants $1000 or trade for my 1984 Honda XR500R. Is this worth it? Are the parts hard to find for a bike like this?

Not sure if about them being rare, although they probably
are either scrap or sitting in someones collection.

The model was a 540 DXC.

Unless you like a challenge, it might hard to find parts for this
bike. It's a nice looking bike if you are into restoring bike though.
