Ktm 125 exc 2006

Im having a few problems with my speedo, it only seems to work when the engine is not running by pushing it but when its on it displays 8888 across the whole display you can view it when riding by pushing either + or - buttons but only untill you leg go. I believe the promblem is due to a missing wire as you have 3 connectors coming out of the speedo but i can only find 2 to plug them into. I lifted the tank out a searched for the other connector for it but nothing. any ideas to why theres a wire missing??Please help!!!

The 125 EXC is not available in North America for 2006.

Maybe someone from Europe or Oz can help?
