2006 ktm xc-w 250

Hi everyone I am in the process of possibly picking up a 2006 KTM 250 XC-W but the only thing about the bike is a kid owns it and has MESSED UP the plastics. The gas tank is destroyed as well at the front fender, number plate, and side plastic pieces. I wanna price all this stuff out before I pick up the bike. How much is a tank? I see tanks on ebay that go to the sx-f model will that fit on my xc-w? what tanks will fit this thing? The kid was messing around with the carberator and the bike will not start up right now but I shot some carb cleaner it the bike and it started up so I am sure the kid messed up the carb. Also I saw the acerbis plastics where 109 will they match pretty good?

specifically the gas tank. it is all messed up.

I see red flags when a bike has been abused and not maintained well.

If the bike is thrashed externally, who know if the oil was changed or
air filter ever cleaned. You also might have steering head and/or swing
arm bearings ready to go out. Unless this is a project bike and cheap,
if it were me I'd punt.

That Husky is sweet. You might be trading for a huge headache, and lot's of trips to the KTM parts counter. I'd only consider a trade if you can get a mechanic to go through the bike first (engine, all pivot bearings).
Also consider your cost to replace plastics and a fuel tank (get some cash plus the trade).
