kick stater wont engage
I Have a 2ooo ktm 380 exc. The kickstarter started slipping yesterday about the 3 or 4th kick into starting it, it has never had any issues before this. It didnt come loose all of the sudden just some silppage. It finally started and i was able to ride without any further problems until the end of the day. Now the kick stater moves freely backwards and forward. I can push start but there is a wine as if the kick starter was 1/4 of the way back, but with it being all the way forward. Also the kick starter shaft appears to be pulled slighly out from the case. Does the case need to be split to reach the problem. I am hoping this is a fairly easy fix. Any information on what the may be wrong will be helpful, or if anyone knows of a website with exploded views that would relate to my problem. thanx
