water in transmission oil

I ride a 2007 300 xcw and have noticed milky color trans oil from the last ride when the bike over heated. What happened and how do I fix the problem?

Did you do a stream crossing, or are you saying you have coolant
in your transmission?

Sadly to say coolant in the transmission. When got overheated steam was coming from both overflow tube and transmission plug.

Unfortunately if you do have coolant in your transmission, you probably
have a shot water pump seal.

The radiator is at higher PSI than the transmission, and forcing coolant into
the transmission.

Maybe some one with a bike close to yours will chime in with another
culprit.
