250sx chain sliding on frame

I have a 2008 250SX, and the chain slides on the frame, on the crossbar between the footpegs. Is this normal? Shouldn't there be a roller or guard there?

Ohh not normal. There is a piece of plastic that the chain should rest on.

I'd hit up your local KTM dealer and pick one up, its a wear item they can order for you.
