some pretty impressive mileage stats in this thread, enough to cause me to go back to notes, let's see:

1290sdr, trialled various air pressures & found a lot depends on the tyre itself, never in my life found a tyre respond as the rs, up & down like a honeymooners undies anything up to 10psi difference within 20mins of either starting or finishing a ride, & as I live in/on roads absolutely ignored by local authorities unless there's an election coming... but as I said tyre wear, from my notes

oem dunlops 3500km front started to lose profile & scalloped & slip a lot swapped both out, possible 1000km remaining in arse end, ran air according to manual - 36/42 = bollocks - not over confident feel in wet but ridable

conti sport attack 3500 front & rear - front started losing grip at 3000swapped both out, possible 1000km remain in carcass, front lost profile, air at 33/35 - awesome wet or dry to my style

dunlop q3 3000 front - 1 rear - front started losing it at 2500 decided to swap both out, possible 100km remain but unstable & lost profile air at 33/35 - not enough feedback from front for me to be happy - carcass too stiff cbf trying to get happy air for wet

michy pilot rd 4, front & rear losing it at 2500 swapped out at 3500, lost profile - brittle feel to front, air 33/35 - neext

michy power rs 3500km front, to 2 rears front started slipping aprox 3200 decided to swap out due to instability, possible 1000km remain .. air 33/35 sweet as for first 1500km then meh, not me for wet rds

metzler m7rr front & rear, rear into wear bars at 5077 front still going rear dead at 6000, front.... replaced rear with battlax s21, now running fr 33psi rr 36psi

m7rr front, starting to scallop right hand mid tread to sidewall, replacing at 7748.5ks with s21 also replacing rear simply to match tyres rear s21 has done 2671ks still has aprox 1500 left but replacing anyway, was good as anything else & better than most for my riding on wet roads too!

bad habit exclosure time - is both tyres are wearing harder on right hand sides, rear (s21) to point of separating compounds ie 1 is worn deeper than the other in this case outer compound is stepped down by aprox 1.2 - 2mm

s21 was great for my ride style wet/dry, still going strong when sold the 15

the se came with brand spanking rossi 3 thingamajigs, see how they go

almost be keen to give a horse a head job to get 20 out of something that goes around corners as well as gives life beyond 5000

SDR & loving it - NOW any day above ground's a good day!!

Scrubby, notes ... you keep notes? I'm something like "dammit, this tire is shredded... what else ya got?"
IMHO pretty much all the Pilot series tires have been tried and liked but don't ask me how far they went? Going to next try the Angel "A" spec tire that Doc recommends. Remember that all tires have improved "stiction" and wear these days compared to not so long ago. You can't go wrong, just compare today's offerings to the Michelin PZ2 tire era ... it's really not a contest. You can't convince me that they were NOT made of wood.

Ya like that's gonna happen ... less photogenic than Scrubs, guaranteed.

Perks of being my friend: You'll be the NORMAL one!

I do all my own stunts but not intentionally.

Every rare once in a while you find that unexpected "someone" the one who sends your heart racing and can change your life forever ... we call these people cops!

I surprise myself with these verbal "pearls of wisdom" then try to get out of the car with the seatbelt on?

Taking Viagra for this terrible sunburn ... doesn't cure it or anything but it keeps the sheets off my legs at night!
