You think it'll take a bending? Was trying after it heated up..might have to get it hotter.

Hey I washed her two weeks ago! Just ride it every day to work..

I can't see why it wouldn't mate, it's only a thin piece of ally. getting it 'right' is more likely to take some measuring and doing it in a vice etc to get it right, depends how precise you want to be really.

Yea I just assumed they came well shaped. I tried shoving it around once it was heated up but it didn't move much. I will have to keep tinkering with it

Hoping to scrape by without any more expense. I'm already touch and go on the engine...really miss my twins. Still have someone offering me a hyper 821 SP... For now I'm hoping the tune today gets me over the surging/bucking nature of the bike. If that really gets cleaned up I may feel differently..but don't want to keep putting money into this one.

that muffler clamp is supposed to be closed and attached to outer ,if the system is not working that way it should be , make a little 8 clip . you know what i mean?
I havent seen a cheap decat personally but it can lack material thickness and quality control.

your not gonna be happy with the 690 if your trying to get 20% more and you need to be under 80kg imo , you know physics.

Honestly it s a mystery why some 690 motors run more rougher than others.

It's not the power that bugs me. It's the nature of the engine. I mean it could use more power...but I really don't like how inconsistent the throttle is at stable speeds, low rpms, etc. It surges and bucks, it's choppy and has a lot of what feels like fueling issues.
