My 15 SDR had no hole in the oil jet. It was solid brass. Replaced it with one with a hole in it. Felt no different. I check it every oil change and it’s clogged. I don’t remove anything to access it except it’s own little cover. I clean it out with a numbered dremel tool drill...
That’s true. From memory I think the oil filter cover bolts are 6nm and the screens are 13nm. So that’s pretty low torque to begin with. Anti seize and a lower torque value has worked for me.
Also. Transmission fluid and acetone mixed 50/50 applied over a few days to a stuck fastener...
I loved the factory road smart sport smart 2’s. Paid out the a$$ for a second one. But there gone now and I’m a big fan of q3’s. And will get the q4 when my last q3 is shot. I bought a few when they were on clearance.
The new exhaust routing is a byproduct of the more strict euro regs for 2020. The catalytic converter is huge and will be very hard to work around for fueling and exhaust mods.
My opinion is keep your older ones.
Close to the yellow is lane 1. No issue there as far as I’m concerned.
Other guy panicked and target fixated. I’d be lying if I said I never did that when starting out and not counting steering. Glad it all worked out.
