History
i had a frame for many years because my son (when he was 16) had a 1981 GPz550 and had to have a parts bike for a spare engine. The Uni-Trac frame looked like it had potential so i started in the Fall of 2016 and by Spring of 2017 it was completed with a 1984 GPz550 engine and 1992 Ninja wheels and brakes. 2011 GSXR forks had to be adapted and steering damper installed to deal with the new fork angle. 17" wheels wheels have Dunlop Q3 tires, 160/60 rear, 120/60 front.
The rear seat cowl hinges to expose the electronics and was made from an xs650 fuel tank.
Would like to find a full fairing for it but has to look vintage and not add much weight. Bike weighs in at 370. Top speed is only about 110 but engine is stock and sprocket is similar to original GPz.
