Hey all. I just purchased a 2023 1290 SAS. Under the passenger seat there is a wire harness with a rubber boot on the connector. See the pic. I can only assume this is where a computer is hooked up to in order to get to the bike's ECU as I did have the dealer install he Tech-Pack prior to me picking it up. My question is... did your bike come with a cover over that boot to keep dirt and water out? It sure looks to me that the boot would accept a rubber cover to seal around it in the groove. My dealer said no there is no cover but I have little confidence in them. Thanks for the help.

I have a 2022 1290sar with the same exact plug & no cover

I had a Triumph and there was a slot in the plastic mudguard/seat tray where you could park it when not being used. Maybe the KTM has something similar

This is the factory alarm connector. The OBD connector is different. Look for the small plug that fits into the red connector.

Ktm must have that everyone wants an alarm. That's probably why there's no cover.

That plug is under the drivers seat, at least on my 2020.
