Hello, going on a trip next weekend. The front headlight bulb (stock part) has been burned out; figured I'd change it prior to going. Replaced the bulb and... still nothing. I've read up regarding AC/DC system in this bike. Yes, the bike was running when I checked it. My volt meter (AC) is getting approximately 4 volts at idle and up to 6 when rev'd. Would this be the stator going bad? I would think if it were the wiring harness/short I'd have no voltage at the terminals. Are there any LED bulbs that could work on the lower voltage in a pinch? There is no time to get it in to the shop where I'm at and have it turned around in less than a week. All other electrical on the bike works perfectly fine. Worst comes to worst, I guess I'll have to make sure I'm not out anywhere near dusk. Thanks for any help/suggestions.
