New key fob battery, battery shows full charge, no screen just an intermittent amber light. It previously would start up regularly, then it went back to this amber light only! Battery is new and shows 13.5. Any help would be appreciated thank you!

Thank you! I did try the other key, same affect, nothing, of course my ktm dealer said they had never heard of this problem, highly doubt it, I probably will have it towed to dealer for code check, get it running , and sell to buy bmw

Weird, but have you:

1. Checked the fluid level, of the new battery?
2. Charged it, before installing (lead acid and lithium and agm)?

Some Lithium batteries don't play well and for sure need to be charged before use... no matter what voltage they read.

If it is lithium, be sure to use a lithium specific charger... likewise with agm.

Check all fuses, if they are ok, try pulling all of them, including main 20A fuse, let sit overnight, put the fuses back, check again.
Obviously, your battery must be ok and charged first of all.

One last thing, make sure your steering lock itself is not actuated when the bars are not hard over. It is possible to actuate the steering lock when the bars are not in the position to lock. Ask me know I know…LOL.

Bike won’t respond in that condition. I did it by accident once when new. Took a little button fiddling to reset the lock.
