Had the same concerns. Use a socket, much easier than a wrench. Both anti clockwise on my 2021. Thought I read on here that they were 1 of each, so I purchased standard/reverse threaded plugs. Oh well

Yeah usually mirrors are opposite threads so they tighten from pressure of wind resistance on the mirror. But KTM has to be different I guess? I couldn’t remember if the mirror threads were the odd ones, or these “extensions”. And to be hones I still can’t! Try them both directions, if it moves a little bit but doesn’t free up then turn the other way!

Thinking about it, I still have the old mirrors, let me dig them out.

Ok I did it. They were very tight; possibly LocTite in there. In any event off they came and the holes are plugged. Thanks all for responding.
