2023 SDR EVO tanks dents

So I’ve been doing upgrades on this bike and absolutely love it. Exhaust from hot bodies, SAS delete, servo delete, etc. So I was wiping down the bike and noticed something weird going on with my tank. I can see a bolt mark on the left side where your leg would sit right above the plastic pushing outward from within the tank. Super weird. Almost as if the take is collapsing in where the legs go. Now I’m not gonna to lie I’ve had this up in some pretty aggressive wheelies as I’m sure most of you have, but can my legs be crushing to tank? It so far in that the plastic around it has a 1/4” gap. No way I’m doing this right? Anyone else have a similar issue? I checked for pressure in the tank and there is none. I made sure of that when I did the sas delete.

Someone tried to push a dent out from the inside with a tommy bar and succeeded in creating a pimple.
Is this a metal tank? Not resin, right? The metal on the tanks IS getting thin but wow on that if its metal. A carefully-placed stripe decal may conceal, or perhaps some gripster...

Sorry. If it IS resin, im guessing the Ethanol issue.
Thighmaster much? To crush a metal tank by squeezing with your thighs would be quite a feat. Something else going on here.

@Hammerhead may not be far off. But if it wasn't you, you could always try your dealer for warranty.

I wish. The bike is brand new

I was thinking I crushed it too but really!! That’s a hell of a grip. Then I was thinking vacuum is the only way I that could suck in. Definitely going to try the dealer then. I thought maybe it was another common issue with the duke. My 990 had ethanol issues so why not this lol
Ethanol warped my old Monster tank, but with metal you're safe of course. The plastic tank on my Duke 690 partly collapsed in a heavy rain, vent got plugged. Is it possible the fuel pump is strong enough to collapse a metal tank if vent is plugged? Did you change your fuel cap?

Doesn't mean some mope at the shop couldn't have put a drunk bump on it and then tried to pop it out. Metal tanks don't deform on their own.

Doesn't look collapsed at all. Looks punched out after being punched in.
So is that normal? I just noticed the top lines that look Normal until I was browsing through photos of dukes.
Dealer needs to order you a new tank!
Just how thin are these metal tanks?
Sheesh
