I think the Adventure S like many ktm's doesnt have the Linkage system on the rear suspension (excluding gen3 Superduke.) so the lowering is alittle more diffirent. you can only lower 1 inch max as far as i know, but if you change the front wheel to 17 inch bike will automaticly drop by 2 inch and then you can even lower the forks half inch and get a low seat. there would be a more professional solution for sure but these are all i know.
You have the low-seat option, plus the electronic pre-load adjustment. When I went for a test ride in the summer, the dealer had the demo 2022 1290 SAS setup with the pre-load in it's lowest setting and with a low seat as it was the bike he used and he was about 5'8. I'm 5'10 and I'm comfortable riding the bike with the pre-load in the standard setting.
