I had in Poland, thay did this during also replacing my left side cover of engine due to the porous casting and the oil was weeping near to water pump cover (I had somewhere the post about this).

And maybe its my fell, but shift works better now. I had before during hard acceleration, faulse neutral, now works perfect.

Yes, only difference I notices is I don't hit false neutrals. Only hit them about 3-4 times before so it may have very well been me getting used to their quick shifter vs the one on my other bikes

Had it done on mine. The dealer offered to drop a new filter in (for a price) since a bunch of oil was needed for this work anyway. Ended up having the recall done and oil changed for 25$ (Canuckistan kopecks). Also won't have the ability to test it anytime soon since it's winter and snow is everywhere.
