Are power valve flaps extinct?

I’ve been looking for about a week now for any sign of a power valve flap for a 1991 ktm 300 for sale. Been looking through parts catalogs to get part numbers for all different years and models and the only one I’ve found is included in a $1000 2007 250 sx -> 300 conversion kit. Anybody know where I could buy one or can I only get one if I have a machine shop custom make the piece from scratch?

Lots of used parts sources for your vintage treasure. Most motorcycle salvage yards sell complete cylinders or individual parts for your PV. Some of the better cylinder resurfacing companies can repair damaged PV for you. Try Millennium Technologies or US Chrome or Power Seal for starters and see if one of them has what you need. If you try ebay for parts check your sellers return policy before purchase.

Been looking a month for a PV WITH THE O-RING SLOTS TOWARD THE END OF THE SHAFT. KTM motorcycle we think its a 300 might be a 250
Best to start a search thread here on forum. You will get better exposure and possibly better response. You will get limited exposure here because your reply is visible as a reply only. If you start a thread it becomes visible to entire membership here. Your 250 and 300 do not use the same PV or cylinder. Check casting number on lower cylinder surface to confirm your displacement for correct part fitment
