I noted the timing chain tensioners are a way different from japanese spring loaded timing chain tensioners.
KTM tensioner is hydraulic one and how it works? how it gets on moment of star the engine when it is not enough oils pressure???
Thing is when I tried to start the engine f..cking tensioner just did not press the chain and the chain just jumped over the cam shaft !!!

Question: could be the timing chain destroyed in some way when the camshafts on 2nd cylinder got stucked and it is not functioning well anymore?

I tried to put inside the tensioner the small metal piece - tensioner did the job. taking out - timing chain jumped over again.

I'm starting to think about the new engine...

Never knew about an oil pressure actuated chain tensioner.

My LC4 and RFS have the spring loaded kind.

Your engine is the LC8?
