I ended up using this stuff after a friend told me about it. He used it on a outboard motor.(saltwater). He would spray everything under the cover and nothing would corrode. Before I reconnect any of the electrical connectors on the bike I spray them with this. I have a garage door remote that is not the least bit weather proof that I opened up and soaked it, battery and all. The remote has been mounted on my bikes for about 6 years. Just changed the battery and it looks new inside, no corrosion. I'm sure there are many products that do the same. Info on product
