I recently bought a 2002, 200exc that needs a little love. The shaft of one of the the plastic fork clickers was sheared off under the knob and requires replacement. I removed the other side to compare the two. When I tried to reinstall it I couldn’t get the detent balls compressed enough to allow the clicker to seat. I’ve been chasing little steel balls around the garage floor. I’m using grease as glue to hold the balls in place and to lubricate as I try to install them. That helps but so far I can’t get them in place. Anyone have a trick or procedure to make installation easier. Appreciate any guidance. Thanks.
