so today I planned to install racefoxx fuel cap but obviously don't know how to 😂 don't know what to do with wire that is connected to original cap that open the tank and the two gas hose which are probably fume hoses but correct me if I'm wrong. racefoxx cap doesn't has anywhere to conncet the hoses

I have butchered my cap so that I can open it anytime rather than have it electronically locked and possible lockout.
The wire I just disconnected and blanked off, the hoses are still connected as I have OEM cap still.
One will probably be fuel overflow and the other a breather? I guess you could plug them.
Let us know how you go.

One hose is for overflow. I.e. you're filling your tank and it overflows a bit into the recess under the gas cap but outside the tank itself. There is a drain hole there that goes into a hose that lets the gas spill out under the bike. Seems better than having overflow gas just run down on top of the engine. I think!

The other hose is a vent hose so when it gets hot and the gas and air inside the tank expand it has somewhere to go. I think that hose is plumbed so it goes back to the charcoal canister under the passenger seat. I think it's okay to just leave this hose disconnected, but I could be wrong. These bikes DO have sensors that can detect SOME issues with the evap system (i.e. the system that includes the charcoal canister). I do not know if there are conditions that would throw a code if that vent hose is not connected.

so I'm feeling crazy over the gas cap. I mean I'll have a mental breakdown  I did put racefoxx cap

you need to cut the wire from the original cap since there is no way you could leave the wire intact because there is no connector, wire is part of "mother board" of gas cap. didn't know what to to with hoses, there is no way that they go somewhere so I did this

did I do something very stupid or? I really don't have anybody to ask and now I'm afraid that gas will go somewhere above the engine or that tank will implode

I'm thinking that this mod was a mistske
