My Karoo 3s that came on my 790R wore out more than twice as fast as the K60 Scouts I replaced them with. The 1290 is heavier and with the extra power probably goes through tires faster. The K60 rear in the photo had over 14k miles, was plugged 3 times, and had a nail in it that I didn’t know about until I put the new one on. They are heavy and pricy, but perfect for me.
