Also u wouldn’t happen to know what carb it has on it ? It a Klein or whatever def not a mikuni as soon as I turn the gas it it free flows out a hose coming off bowl thinking the needle isn’t sealing properly? I wanted to find a carb kit for it any knowledge on that I would be super grateful. Thanks again man

Also I found engine code 2-548 02715
Kinda curious what model it is damn dude I feel like I owe ya lol
2 is the year of the motor (2002). 548 is the model of the motor, and 02715 is the serial number of your motor. But then it gets tricky... as the 548 motor came out in 2004 and lasted to 2007... The cylinder was either a 250 or a 300cc. This should be stamped/engraved on the cylinder head or the cylinder.

It can mean anything really that would be considered an upgrade of the bike. But no, not a bigger bore as it would mean the engine now would be "bigger" (the cc's).

"Also I found engine code 2-548 02715"

2 tells us the motor was assembled in 2002
The 548 engine cases came in 2004 and was used to 2007 in the 250/300 engines. Your motor was/is number 2715 of them. KTM would have started the 548 production a few years before they let them on to the market in bikes.

6: Check digit
8: Year of bike (assembled in 2008)

Greetings from Cameroon. I am new to the KTM scene but loving it so far. I just bought a KTM and was told it was a 2013 2T 300 6 Days. Looking at the Vin, I am seeing it is actually a 2014 2T 250 6 Days. Am I getting this right? Here is the VIN: VBKCSA200EM339752. Lastly, what is the CSA stand for? Thanks for your help!!
